Ergomo USA recognizes that privacy is a primary concern for Internet users. To protect your privacy, we do not sell, share, or rent your personal information in any way.

The Information We Collect

Personal Information

Ergomo USA does not collect any personal information from you automatically. The only way we currently receive personal information is if you send it to us through e-mail or through signing up for our newsletter. We do not share, rent, or sell your personal information to anyone.

User Content

User Content is considered any communication you may have with Ergomo USA. For example, you may e-mail us your suggestions or request our newsletter. Ergomo USA may collect User Content, but we will not share, rent, or sell this information.

Opt-In Data

Ergomo USA also collects opt-in data. Opt-in data simply means that if you decide to receive one of our online newsletters, or complete an online survey, we will track which features you have opted to participate in. This information may be used in aggregate and does not personally identify you. Opt-in data helps us tailor content to our readers' needs.

Links

Ergomo USA contains links to other Web sites that may have different and even conflicting privacy policies from ours. We do our best to link to responsible sites, but we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites.

Any information that you disclose in one of our discussion groups is considered public information. You should always be careful when posting personal information that other users will see.

You may, at any time, review, update, or change your personal information by emailing or calling us.

We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update, or modify this Privacy Policy simply by posting the change on the Web site. Any changes will become effective as soon as they are posted.

Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information

We will not collect or share information in any way that has not been covered in our Privacy Policy. We may need to disclose your personal information to comply with a court order or other legal process, to protect our rights or property, to enforce our Web site policies, or to protect the personal safety of users or the public.

Your personal information is stored on a secure server. While Ergomo USA takes every measure to protect your information, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of the information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.


Shipping Policy

Turnaround

All orders are shipped within two business days. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.


Return Policy

Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase date. All items must be returned in new condition.

If an Ergomo bottom bracket sensor has been installed, it will not be accepted for return.

Returns are not accepted without a prior return authorization number.

A 15% Return Item fee will be assessed on Ergomo Systems, CPU's or bottom bracket sensors purchased separately.

Items purchased separately such as chargers, download cables, parts, or mounts are not accepted for returns.

Funds for returned product will be credited within 30 days upon return receipt, minus any shipping charges.


Warranty Policy

The 2-year, manufacturers warranty covers any defects that may arise as the result of the manufacturing process. This does not include normal wear and tear or damage that may result from user negligence or improper installation. Ergomo USA reserves the right to approve or refuse any warranty claims.

In the near future, we will working with our parent company in Germany (Ergomo DE) to offer warranty coverage for Ergomo systems sold before the inception of the partnership between Ergomo USA and Ergomo DE.


Service Policy

Ergomo USA provides installation, set-up, use and software support for Ergomo Pro purchasers whether you purchased your Ergomo within the warranty period or when the Ergomo Pro was first sold in 2006.

We are committed to provide clear steps and complete customer service to have you satisfied with the operation of your Ergomo and ergoRacer software. In order to provide a high level of service to all Ergomo Pro product users, if a user does not participate in the support process by following our direction and taking recommended steps for successful operation, we will notify the customer and support services will be pre-charged at a rate of $80/hour.

In regards to software, we can only support users of ergoRacer 3.0 and higher. As Training Peaks is not currently supporting Ergomo users, we recommend switching to ergoRacer 3.0 or higher.

There is a basic charge for working on your CPU or bb sensor. In over 95% of cases, we can fix your component without further charge.  In the case of a CPU, our first step is to replace your batteries and then if your CPU doesn't work, we do further diagnostics to determine the cause, and you are still charged the base fee of $89.85.  If we cannot determine the cause, and your CPU is declared inoperable, you may use a portion of the fee on a replacement CPU from us. For bottom bracket diagnosis and/or pairing with your CPU, the charge is $49.85.  This is not refundable. We do make exceptions to this based on how long our technician has worked on your bb sensor.
