Heart Rate Monitor
We have had some requests from Ergomo users over the past few months for a heart rate monitor that will transmit, display and record heart rate data with the Ergomo CPU.
We recommend the Polar WearLink® + Coded Transmitter Heart Rate Monitor.
Traditionally, a heart rate monitor transmits data to a wrist device that is relatively close to the HRM transmitter. With the Ergomo CPU being mounted on a bike's handlebars, the CPU is further from the heart rate monitors' transmitter than a wrist unit would be. To make up for the extra distance, a heart rate monitor with a higher transmission range is needed.
The Polar WearLink® has an increased range and the coded transmitter ensures that you are only picking up your heart rate and not another rider in the pack.
